Come learn about early 19th century woodworkers in Bristol Connecticut. Watch a presentation about these early Bristol artisans and see some examples of their work. Learn how these early-American craftsmen influenced Bristol’s greater industrial image.
The presenter will be Tom Vaughn, the Coordinator of Music, Arts and Performance at Old Sturbridge Village, Vice President at the Plymouth Historical Society, and all-around Renaissance man.
The program is free to members, with a $5 suggested donation for nonmembers. Refreshments will be served and doors open at 6:30. Parking is available in the back of the building.
