This year marks the 80th anniversary of the July 6, 1944, Hartford Circus Fire. James Battaglio, a former Hartford Times reporter, will speak to us about his story, A Tragic Price, about the fire. Battaglio became interested in the history of the fire when he was working as a journalist in 1979, when he met a victim of the fire. He never learned her name, but her face and words never left him.
