Andrew McKnight Concert

Join us on Sunday, November 10th for a concert by Andrew McKnight to benefit the Bristol Historical Society!
This benefit concert is open to the public. Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Bristol Historical Society on Wednesdays or Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Bristol Historical Society: 860-583-6309.
Andrew McKnight is a folk singer and skilled guitarist who has performed in various venues. He is the son of Warren McKnight of Forestville, and the grandson of Madeline McKnight, one of the founding member of the Bristol Historical Society. His presentation will include elements of blues, bluegrass and acoustic pop and rock, as well as stories that capture the heart of America that will provide an evening of enjoyment. This concert will benefit the Bristol Historical Society.
In conjunction with the local Veterans Office, Andrew will be present for a special program at West Cemetery at 1pm to honor Aretus Culver of Bristol, of the CT 16th Regiment, who sacrificed his life during the Civil War. Aretus Culver is a prominent figure in the book “A Broken Regiment: the 16th Connecticut’s Civil War by Dr. Lesley Gordon.
